Before you read

If reading Terms and Conditions feels difficult or tender for you, please take your time.

These Terms are here to support clarity and care, not to create distance. They simply describe practical details like booking, payment, and boundaries, so the work itself can happen with trust and ease.

If anything feels unclear or brings up questions, you are welcome to reach out. There is space for dialogue.

Thank you for being here.

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 16/04/2026

We believe that clear agreements create the conditions for trust, safety, and meaningful collaboration. These Terms are here to support a shared understanding of how we work together, what you can expect from us, and what we ask of you in return. While some sections necessarily use formal language, they are written with care and with the intention of honouring the human relationship at the heart of this work.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) set out how this website and the services offered by The Journey. Parent, Child, the World, a sole proprietorship established in Belgium, with its registered office at Nederbosstraat 106, 9810 Nazareth–De Pinte, Belgium, and registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises under number 1034.602.295 (“we”, “us”, “our”), are provided and used.

By visiting this website, booking a service, or engaging with our work in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, we kindly ask that you do not use this website or our services.

Applicability and Agreement

These Terms apply to all use of this website and to all services we provide, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

An agreement between you and us is formed when:

  • you book a service through our website or intake process; or
  • we confirm a booking or engagement in writing, including by email.

Scope of Services

We offer educational, advisory, and consultative services, which may include:

  • one‑to‑one consultations;
  • group sessions, workshops, and masterclasses;
  • organisational and system‑level advisory work;
  • webinars and live online sessions;
  • digital resources and recordings.

Unless agreed otherwise in writing, services are delivered online.

Nature of Services (Best Efforts Basis)

Our services are educational and advisory in nature and are intended to support reflection, insight, and learning.

We do not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice, and our services are not a substitute for professional support in these areas.

All services are delivered with reasonable care, professionalism, and attention, on a best efforts basis. Because each context is unique, we cannot and do not guarantee specific outcomes.

Any decisions you make, and any actions or consequences that follow from our work together, remain your sole responsibility.

Client Responsibilities

To support the quality and integrity of the work, you agree to:

  • provide information that is accurate, complete, and timely;
  • participate actively and with openness in sessions;
  • inform us promptly of any relevant changes.

We cannot be held responsible for outcomes that are affected by incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading information provided by you.

Fees and Payment

All prices are stated in euros (EUR), unless indicated otherwise.

Payment is required in advance, unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing.

If payment is not received by the agreed due date, we reserve the right to postpone, suspend, or cancel the services until payment has been made.

Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)

If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the agreement is concluded.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (by email).

Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal lapses where:

  • the service begins within the 14‑day withdrawal period; and
  • you have expressly agreed to the service starting during this period and acknowledged that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully or partially delivered.

If you withdraw from the agreement, we will reimburse all payments received from you up to that point without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision.

Please note: the statutory right of withdrawal is separate from the contractual cancellation terms below. Once a session has been scheduled, the cancellation conditions continue to apply regardless of the withdrawal period.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

Client cancellations

We understand that life can be unpredictable and that plans may sometimes need to change.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session more than 48 hours before the scheduled time, you may do so free of charge, and we will gladly look for a new date together.

For cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled session, the full session fee will be charged. This reflects the time and preparation reserved specifically for you.

If you are unable to attend and do not notify us in advance (no‑show), the full session fee will be charged and the session cannot be rescheduled.

For programmes, workshops, or group sessions, the specific cancellation and rescheduling conditions shared at the time of purchase apply.

Our right to reschedule or cancel

Our intention is always to meet you with presence, care, and integrity. Very occasionally, circumstances beyond our reasonable control may arise that make it necessary for us to reschedule or cancel a session. These may include illness, force majeure events, or other unforeseen situations.

If this happens, we will inform you as soon as reasonably possible and approach the situation with openness and care. You will be offered either:

  • a new session date, arranged by mutual agreement; or
  • a refund, where applicable.

If we are required to cancel a session less than 48 hours before the scheduled time, we will offer you a 20% discount on the fee of your next session as a gesture of goodwill.

This section operates alongside the Force Majeure clause below.

Force Majeure

We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations where this is due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, illness, technical failures, internet or platform outages, or other external disruptions.

In such situations, we will act in good faith and communicate openly, with the intention of finding a reasonable and respectful way forward wherever possible.

Third‑Party Tools

Our services may rely on third‑party tools or platforms. We are not responsible for issues arising from systems outside our control, including but not limited to internet connectivity, software platforms (such as Zoom or email services), or third‑party technical infrastructure.

Digital Content and Materials

All digital content and materials are provided for personal or internal use only.

You may not copy, distribute, sell, or share any materials without our prior written permission.

Access to digital materials may be time‑limited, as specified at the time of purchase or access.

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and intellectual property belong to The Journey. Parent, Child, the World.

Nothing may be reused, reproduced, or distributed without our prior written consent.

Confidentiality

We treat all information shared with us with care and confidentiality.

Confidentiality does not apply to:

  • information that is already publicly available; or
  • disclosures required by law or by a competent authority.

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a concern or complaint, we ask that you submit it in writing by email within a reasonable timeframe.

We aim to approach all concerns with openness, good faith, and a willingness to seek respectful resolution.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, the parties may consider alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation or arbitration in Belgium. These methods are voluntary and require the consent of both parties.

Limitation of Liability

We provide our services with care, professionalism, and attention. At the same time, the nature of this work means that outcomes depend on many factors beyond our control.

To the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss or damage;
  • we are not responsible for decisions made or outcomes arising from your use of our services.

Our total liability, in any case, is limited to the amount paid by you for the relevant service.

These limitations do not apply in cases of intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or breach of mandatory legal obligations that cannot be excluded under Belgian consumer protection law.

Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.

International Clients

All services are deemed to be delivered from Belgium.

You are responsible for ensuring compliance with any local laws or regulations applicable to you.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Belgian law.

Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The most recent version is always available on this website.
